Our Advanced Life Support units are staffed by a minimum of one
Paramedic who is trained to initiate invasive drug therapies.
These personnel can also render Advanced Life Support through
defibrillation and the provision of advanced airway management, before
(and during transport to a hospital) if medically necessary. ALS
ambulances typically respond to 911 calls and other urgent request for
ambulance service. ALS units are available for stand by events of
all sorts and types such as concerts, sporting events, and other private
venues.
Universal ALS units can typically handled standard ACLS transfers
with medications infusing that are commonly used in the local medical
